It's been one year ago today, boys and i went over to the house today to light a candle for you, we prayed for you, we miss you so much, went over and left a candle at the cemetery also, then went to see your mom
and sat and talked about you, and all the good times we had, we all miss you so much, we love you alonzo,

I was at the Morning Dr. house the last few days, fixing it up. The tree you planted when you were three years old towers over the house now. The stones you set up in the back yard to landscape it are still there. The memory of you playing your electric guitar on the porch lingers, as does your music and voice. I remember the toulouse gosling you had when you were about 2 years old and how you loved it so much. The first dog you had, Gladdie, glumly waited while you showered him with a water hose in this back yard. Memories of you and your fire truck tearing down the sidewalk in the neighborhood. The evening walks we used to take through the golf course and how you loved taking them but petered out before the end, plopping yourself down on the curb. Roy and I would take turns carrying you home. Later, when you got older, you rode your bike during the walks. The Thanksgivings you ate pumpkin pie til you were blue in the face.....so many memories.
Your babies are growing so fast. They miss you so much, as do I. I know I will soon see you again Love you always, mi hijo.
